You find yourself in the heart of Flanders and its cycling culture. Mythical climbs like Koppenberg, Old Kwaremont, Paterberg or Muur are all within easy reach and suited for all levels. Another gem are the routes from the classic Gent-Wevelgem, better known as ‘In Flanders Fields’ which takes you back to some historic routes along the battlefields of WW I, the famous Plugstreets and of course the notorious Kemmelberg.
Along the route you find plenty of cycling bars and terraces to enjoy a coffee in the sun. After the ride, why not try one of the many excellent and famous Belgian beers?

We decided to make this trip available for all levels but especially for beginners and intermediate cyclists in order to let you taste Flanders cycling heritage at its best.
Distance: between 50 and 95 km each day
Elevation gain: between 600 and 1100m
Cyclists: beginners to intermediate; plenty of possibilities for photo and or coffee stops.
Arrival in Ghent and check in in your hotel. Meet and greet with your Bergs & Cobbles cycling guide in the late afternoon. Welcome drink included. Information about the timing, routes and rental bike. We can adjust the routes and distance according to your fitness level.
Dinner at leisure in one of the many restaurants close to the hotel. Your guide and the reception of the hotel will be happy to advise you about the different dining possibilities.
Buffet breakfast in the hotel. Pick up the rental bikes and short transfer to Oudenaarde where we start a beautiful route to the legendary Muur (Kapelmuur), one of the cycling icons in Flanders. Along the way we can even stop in a cycling cafe at the bottom of the Muur.
In the afternoon back to Oudenaarde and time to enjoy a Belgian beer in the famous Museum of the Tour of Flanders. Transfer back to the hotel and, weather permitting, have a relaxing swim in the hotel.
After an excellent buffet breakfast, our cycling guide is picking you up for a short transfer to Oudenaarde where we tackle the famous Bergs (steep but short hills) and cobbles of the TOUR OF FLANDERS. We will enjoy Taaienberg, Old Kwaremont, Paterberg and why not even the notorious Koppenberg. This is one of the true iconic routes in the world! But of course along the route there will be plenty of time to visit a local cycling bar to have a coffee.
After the ride we raise our glass to a great day of cycling. Return of the rental bikes.
Back to the hotel and saturday evening dinner in lively Ghent to finish off an amazing day.
